United Airlines add flights to Anchorage airport

United Airlines add seasonal nonstop service to Anchorage Ted Stevens airport, connecting the largest city in the 49th state with the airline’s hubs in Chicago, Denver and San Francisco.

Anchorage service begins May 22, 2010, with once-weekly Saturday service to and from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

From June 9, 2010 until Aug. 30, 2010, United will offer once-daily roundtrip service linking Anchorage with Chicago, Denver and San Francisco. A second roundtrip flight will operate between Chicago and Anchorage on Saturdays.

United operate Saturday-only roundtrip service between Anchorage and Chicago between Sept. 4, 2010 and Sept. 25, 2010.

With more than 550 daily departures from Chicago, more than 410 daily departures from Denver and more than 230 daily departures from San Francisco, United’s Anchorage service is timed for convenient connections to and from dozens of cities throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, eastern Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
